About us
We are Anthem, a South London-based collective aiming to empower and inspire communities through creative composition and music making.
We believe everyone can compose, everyone can play their part, and everyone can tell their story through music. We empower everyone in the room as a musician. We aim to embolden the creative impulse of communities, reinforcing a message that everyone is capable of artistic expression, helping them to write their own Anthem.
Every Anthem project is carefully devised with communities to create legacy driven projects culminating in a celebratory performance that elevates their composition, showcases their talents and strengthens links within the community.
Drawing on the team's expertise in “classical” music, workshop facilitating and community outreach, we have devised exciting collaborative projects that put young performers at the centre.
“Anthem is brilliant, just the way it is!”
